Dancing Northern Lights in Metro Vancouver
On the evening of October 10, 2024, between 9:30 and 10:30 pm in Richmond, BC, I experienced one of those rare, magical moments—watching the aurora. The lights danced across the sky like a delicate, flowing piece of fabric, appearing and disappearing in mesmerizing waves. Although more vivid through my phone’s camera, I soaked in the beauty of this fleeting wonder. It’s these little moments in life that remind me of how much there is to discover and cherish, even in the most unexpected times. Did you catch a glimpse of this magic?

I didn’t catch them in October but I did in May when it was strong as well and it was magical. Such a bucketlist item! I’m glad you got to experience them.

You were so lucky to see it; I couldn’t find a good location to view it.
